La Casa Verde at Larch Cottage is the beautiful Larch Cottage Nurseries less than 10 minutes drive away and serves mediterranean style food. It is all made on site using local produce and organic vegetables from their own kitchen garden. It opens at 9am and parking is free.

Lowther Castle Cafe is about 10 minutes away by car and offers locally sourced food, freshly prepared in the Lowther kitchensNot open until 10am.
Tim Hortons
There is a Tim Horton’s just 2 miles up the road by the junction between the A6 and A66 and with lots of budget options and they open at 6am. Parking is free.
Cafe Oswalds
Cafe Oswald’s is located on the first floor of ‘Cranstons’ Cumbrian Foodhall in Penrith. It opens at 8am and usesquality, local ingredients as well as many of Cranstons’ own award-winning products. Downstairs also does take away breakfast options and all sort of scrumptions local foods. Parking is free.
